Although I am still suffering from jet lag after my trip from Myanmar to Washington DC, I am full with passion to explore and learn from Americans and other YSEALI Fellows not only about waste treatment system for Environmental Sustainability but also culture and tradition.
I flew 22 hours with three transits to be here which might take me to a professionalism. I left my home, work and my day to day activity in Myanmar. Now I am ready to learn in DC and in my host (Saginaw, Texas) as a very fresh young leader who can demonstrate in solving environmental issues in my country.
The dinner that I had last night at the restaurant near The White House with David, Tony and Kara from ICMA and together with my other fellows from Southeast Asian Country was amazing. It was very warmly and the food which was my first time trying Eastern food in US are awesome.
