Loving it….

It's first week in Downtown BID in DC. Started with an unexpected walk to the BIDs board meeting... amazing to see how the owners in a specific location come together to build a sustainable neighbourhood, ensuring a upmarket yet a liveable environment. The week continued with a visit to a public hearing chaired by charismatic Councillor Evans. Was an eye opening experience seeing the councillors in action handling matters from complicated bills to community challenge...heads of to the finance committee. The Friday was ended with joking BIDs team having a engagement with congress and government representative on revitalising the Franklin Park. The National Park Service District of Columbia and Diwnton BIDs together are collectively working hard to transform the park into an active, flexible and historic urban park. The beauty of this project is how the federal agency and a corporation like The BID are bringing change in terms of legislation towards a new public and private partnership. Kudos to the team 👌🏻
